Boundary Changes for Wimbledon
Thank you for drawing this to our attention. I have just written as follows to the Boundary Commission:""I would like to add my voice to the many expressing concern with the proposal to tear Wimbledon apart. Anything with the name 'Wimbledon' - Chase, Common, West, Village, Common, Park, South - should form part of Wimbledon with the station at its heart. Please do rethink the current proposal. Surely you can find a way of redrawing the boundaries without the need to break Wimbledon up? This reminds me of a centuries ago Britain with an empire and colonies redrawing the boundaries of countries around the world without any real thought and consideration for the local population"".
