New theatre group performing at The Colour House Theatre
THE BLUE ROOM BY DAVID HARECOLOUR HOUSE THEATRE, MERTON ABBEY MILLS, SW19Ten characters...ten amorous encounters...all linked in a way none of them could possibly imagine... New Stagers presents its Spring production: David Hare's THE BLUE ROOM, a modern adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's play La Ronde, from Wednesday May 4th to Saturday May 7th at 7.45pm at the Colour House Theatre. Much has changed since Schnitzler described his own play as 'unprintable' but what hasn't changed is theatre's ability to court controversy and stimulate the mind and senses. The premiere of 'The Blue Room', starring Nicole Kidman, provoked an infamously overexcited review in the 'Telegraph' and national media attention. This is our first production at the Colour House Theatre, Merton Abbey Mills London SW19 2RD. The theatre is close to Colliers Wood and South Wimbledon tube stations, and Wimbledon Rail. It's also well-served by buses. Go to www.tfl.gov.uk to find out how to get there.
