Do You Have An Artistic Bent?


Volunteers wanted for Saturday night arts & activities

The Wolfson Neuro-Rehabilitation Centre, currently based at St George’s Hospital in Tooting, will expand soon to Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton which is part of St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust and close to Putney, Barnes and Richmond. The Wolfson Neuro-Rehabilitation centre looks after patients with neurological conditions who typically spend 12 weeks in therapy.

The centre seeks expressions of interest from people who would like to lead Saturday night arts and activities. The aim of this programme is to raise the mood amongst patients, many of whom are living with life-changing conditions. We seek expressions of interest from professional artists and educators experienced working with the public.

Suggested roles, but not limited to: Singers, actors and readers, musicians, writers, artists, wildlife/botanists, games-night.

You will need to be available for minimum 6 Saturday nights annually.

Supported by St George’s Hospital Charity, fees are £90 per eve and suggested times are 5.45 – 7.45pm.
