Local Schools Help Raise Cash For Charity

London Schools Concert raised over £9,500 for The Childrens Trust

An annual schools concert, held at St John’s Smith Square, London SW1 on Sunday 7th February, has raised £9,500 for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.

The popular annual charity event, which celebrated its 12th anniversary, provided entertainment from some of London’s top schools, giving students the opportunity to perform in front of a 450-strong audience.

Forty seven pupils from Putney High (pictured left_ & twenty five from Prospect House schools were among three hundred and forty five from eleven schools across London.

Tanya Richardson, Head of Community Fundraising at The Children’s Trust, said: “Not surprisingly, tickets very quickly sold out for the London Schools Concert, which showcases some amazing musical talent in London schools. I would like to thank all the schools, students, staff and parents for their continued support in helping to raise money for some very special children.”
