Transport Disruption this Bank Holiday Weekend


Tube and Overground services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this Bank Holiday weekend, May 5 - 7, please check if any of the following works will affect you.

central line

On Sunday and Monday, there is no service between Edgware Road and Aldgate via King’s Cross St. Pancras due to Crossrail work at Liverpool Street and Thameslink work at Farringdon.

district line

From Saturday May 5 to Monday 7 inclusive, there is no service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway in order to improve the track at Ealing Common.

piccadilly line

From Saturday May 5 to Monday 7 inclusive, there is no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge in order to improve the track at Ealing Common.

London Overground

On Sunday and Monday, there is no service between Richmond and Willesden Junction due to Network Rail re-signalling work.

On Sunday, there is no service between Clapham Junction and Kensington (Olympia) due to Network Rail re-signalling work.

Future travel disruption:

district line

Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April, suspended between Earl's Court and Aldgate East and between Turnham Green and Richmond. Rail replacement buses operate.

Bus service: between Turnham Green and Richmond, calling at Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury and Kew Gardens.

central line

Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 April, no service

piccadilly line

Saturday 5, Sunday 6 and Bank Holiday Monday 7 May

No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Replacement buses operate.

Service E: Acton Town - Ealing Common - North Ealing - Hanger Lane - Alperton - Sudbury Town - Sudbury Hill - South Harrow - Rayners Lane
