Transport Disruption Over The Weekend


Local tube and Overground affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this weekend, January 25 and 26 the following lines are affected by engineering works.

District

Trains will not run between Turnham Green and Richmond to allow for line improvement work at Richmond.

Trains will not run between Tooting Broadway and Morden while we test new signalling

There is no service between South Harrow and Uxbridge to allow for track to be replaced at Ruislip and drainage renewed at Hillingdon.

Trains will not run between Richmond and Willesden Junction due to line improvement work at Richmond.

On Sunday, there is no service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction. This is while for the installation of l perimeter fencing in preparation for development works in the Earl’s Court area.

Trains will also not run between the following stations on Sunday, due to Network Rail track improvement works:

  • Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction until 8.15am northbound
  • Sydenham and Crystal Palace until 9.30am and after 9pm
  • Queen’s Park and Watford Junction

Travelling to Gatwick Airport

On Sunday, there is no Gatwick Express service while Network Rail carries out planned rail improvement works. Southern train services will run between London Victoria and East Grinstead/Dorking, with bus connections to/from Gatwick Airport. Your journey will take longer than usual, so please plan in advance at nationalrail.co.uk
