Transport Disruption This Weekend


Local Overground services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel on Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6 the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Sunday 6 April

No service between Richmond / Shepherd's Bush and Camden Road (via West Hampstead). Replacement buses operate between Gunnersbury and Camden Road. Use the District line for travel between Richmond and Gunnersbury. A special train service also operates between Willesden Junction and Stratford via Queens Park. Valid tickets will be accepted for travel on local London Buses services between Shepherd's Bush and Willesden Junction.

District

Sunday 13 April

Engineering work is taking place between Barnes and Hounslow until approximately 14:00 closing the line. Buses replace trains between Barnes and Feltham via Brentford and Hounslow with extended journey times of up to 40 minutes. Trains between London Waterloo and Woking (via Hounslow) will be diverted to run via Richmond and Twickenham.

District

Sunday 20 April

Engineering work is taking place between Clapham Junction and Richmond closing all lines.
No trains will run between Vauxhall and Richmond. Trains between London Waterloo and Kingston via Richmond / Strawberry Hill via Wimbledon will not run. Buses will replace trains between Clapham Junction and Twickenham / Kew Bridge. Customers to / from Queenstown Road Battersea should use Southern trains between London Victoria and Battersea Park.

District

Easter Holiday Weekend

On Thursday 17 April after 2045, and all day on Good Friday 18, Saturday 19, Sunday 20 and Easter Monday 21 April, no service between Ealing Broadway and Turnham Green due to engineering works. Replacement buses operate. Piccadilly line trains will also serve Turnham Green at these times.

Easter Holiday Weekend

On Thursday 17 after 2050, all day Good Friday 18, Saturday 19, Easter Sunday 20 and Easter Monday 21 April, no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge due to engineering works. Replacement buses operate. Trains will also stop at Turnham Green during these works, please use the Metropolitan line for travel between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge.

Service A: Acton Town - Ealing Common - North Ealing - Hanger Lane (for Central line and Park Royal) Alperton - Sudbury Town - Sudbury Hill - South Harrow - Rayners Lane (for Metropolitan line)

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April

No service between Embankment and Aldgate East, and between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia).

central line

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April

No service between Gloucester Road and Aldgate (via Victoria). Circle line trains will be revised to operate between Hammersmith and Aldgate, and between Edgware Road and Gloucester Road (via High Street Kensington)

District

Saturday 3, Sunday 4 and Bank Holiday Monday 5 May

No service between South Kensington and Aldgate East, and between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia).

central line

Saturday 3, Sunday 4 and Bank Holiday Monday 5 May
