Transport Disruption This Weekend


Local train services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this Sunday, the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Sunday August 31

- The lines between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow will be closed Sunday until mid-afternoon  for bridge and track renewals. During this time:

  - Train services between London Waterloo and Woking via Brentford and Staines will be diverted between Barnes and Feltham , calling at Richmond and Twickenham.

  - Replacement bus services will run between Barnes and Feltham, calling at all stations via Hounslow.

Sunday August 31

No service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction. Valid rail tickets will be accepted on local buses via all reasonable routes.

No service between Clapham Junction and Kensington (Olympia). Valid rail tickets will be accepted on local buses via all reasonable routes.

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September

No service between Gloucester Road and Aldgate (via Victoria). Trains will operate between Hammersmith and Aldgate (via King's Cross St.Pancras), and between Edgware Road and Gloucester Road (via High Street Kensington). This is to allow for track replacement work at Westminster and station improvement work at Victoria.

Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September

No service between South Kensington and Aldgate East, or between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia). This is to allow for track replacement work at Westminster and station improvement work at Victoria. Replacement buses operate on Sunday only to/from Olympia.

Sunday 7 September

No service between Willesden Junction and Camden Road (via West Hampstead). Replacement buses operate between Willesden Junction and Camden Road. A special train service also operates between Willesden Junction and Stratford via Queens Park.

Replacement buses operate Willesden Junction - Kensal Rise - Brondesbury Park - Brondesbury - West Hampstead - Finchley Road Underground Station (for Jubilee and Metropolitan lines and Finchley Road & Frognal) - Hampstead Heath - Gospel Oak Station - Kentish Town West (Kentish Town Road) - Camden Road Alternative train service Willesden Junction (Low Level Platforms) - Kensal Green - Queens Park - Kilburn High Road - South Hampstead - Camden Road - Caledonian Road & Barnsbury - Highbury & Islington - Canonbury - Dalston Kingsland - Hackney Central - Homerton - Hackney Wick - Stratford. Additional trains operate between Camden Road and Stratford.

Sunday 7 September

No service between Gospel Oak and Barking. Replacement buses operate.

Replacement buses operate Route 1: Gospel Oak Station - Upper Holloway - Crouch Hill - Harringay Green Lanes - South Tottenham - Seven Sisters (for London Underground Victoria line and abellio Greater Anglia) Route 2: South Tottenham - Blackhorse Road - Walthamstow Queens Road - Walthamstow Central (for London Underground Victoria line and abellio Greater Anglia) - Leyton Midland Road - Leytonstone High Road - Wanstead Park - Woodgrange Park - Barking

Sunday 7 September

No service between New Cross Gate and West Croydon / Crystal Palace, or between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. Replacement buses operate.

Replacement buses operate New Cross Gate - Brockley - Honor Oak Park - Forest Hill - Sydenham - Crystal Palace - Anerley (For Penge West) - Norwood Junction - Selhurst (for Southern connections) - West Croydon. Service M: Canada Water - Surrey Quays - Queens Road Peckham - Peckham Rye - Denmark Hill - Clapham High Street - Wandsworth Road - Clapham Junction
