Transport Disruption This Weekend


Local tube and train services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this Saturday or Sunday, the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Overground

Sunday 23 November

No northbound London Overground service from Clapham Junction to Wandsworth Road until 0815 due to Network Rail track works. The 0720 and 0750 trains from Clapham Junction to Highbury & Islington will run along an alternative route, starting from Battersea Park (at 0722 and 0752) calling next at Wandsworth Road and then all stations to Highbury & Islington; southbound services are unaffected. Valid rail tickets will be accepted on local buses via all reasonable routes between Clapham Junction and Battersea Park / Surrey Quays and on Southern services between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction

district line

Friday 26 - Tuesday 30 December

In connection with track replacement in the Earl’s Court area and line improvement works, the District Line train service will be suspended between Ealing Broadway/Wimbledon/Richmond/Kensington (Olympia)/Edgware Road and Embankment.

The Piccadilly line will operate a revised service including trains running between Ealing Broadway and Acton Town and all trains running via the "stopping" lines stopping at all stations between Acton Town and Hammersmith.

Three rail replacement bus services will operate:

Service A: Wimbledon – Wimbledon Park – Southfields – East Putney – Putney Bridge – Hammersmith

Service B: Wimbledon – Putney Bridge – Parsons Green – Fulham Broadway – West Brompton – Earl’s Court

Service C: Richmond – Kew Gardens – Gunnersbury – Chiswick Park – Turnham Green

circle line

Friday 26 - Tuesday 30 December

The Circle line will be suspended between Edgware Road and Aldgate, via Victoria
