'Wild About Wimbledon' book-signing

Local author sign his book on Saturday

Local photographer Andrew Wilson will be signing copies of his 'Wild About Wimbledon' book in the town on Saturday (December 1).

His new book captures the town, the village and the common through the seasons of the year - whether it is the morning mist hovering over Wimbledon Park or the 2012 Olympic logos adorning the pavements of the village in the summer, or the magical setting of the Windmill on the common.

He will be appearing at Waterstones on Wimbledon Bridge from 11am-1pm on Saturday, and also at the Christmas Fair at the Kings School.

And there will be a launch party at Wimbledon Books & Music, Wimbledon Village on Wednesday (December 5) 6pm–8pm – come along and enjoy a glass of wine, everyone is welcome.

Wild About Wimbledon: Where The Town Meets The Country, sponsored by Wimbledon estate agent Robert Holmes is published by Unity Print and Publishing Ltd and is available to buy (price £19.99) from all good bookstores including Wimbledon Books and Music, Wimbledon Village and Waterstones, Wimbledon Bridge.

To win a copy of the book yourself, see our competition panel on the right.
