Wimbledon will be coming alive for Christmas

This year's Wimbledon Winter Wonderland event, marking the start of Christmas in the town centre, will take place on Thursday November 29.

Organisers promise a packed evening of street entertainment, live music, dance, street theatre, balloon modelling, human statue and market stalls on The Piazza.

There will be a parade led by Samba dancers through the town, starting from 6.30pm. The fireworks display from the roof of Centre Court shopping centre will take place at 7pm.

Entertainment will continue in the town centre until 8pm.

The switch-on evening for the Xmas lights in Morden town centre is Wednesday November 28.
