Celebrity Cricket Match In Wimbledon

Your chance to play against the Bunburys

The world-famous Bunbury celebrity cricket team will be playing a team of parents from King's College Junior School in Wimbledon on Sunday September 19.

The Bunbury team is a charity fund-raising cricket team including world class cricketers such as Owais Shah and Steve Finn, and the match is due to start at Wimbledon Cricket Club in Church Road from 12pm onwards.

Olympic swimmer Mark Foster, EastEnders star Rudolph Walker, and ITN anchorman Mark Austin are among the celebrities lined up to join the Bunburys for the match, and you could bid for a place in the Kings team facing them.

Even if you are not connected to the school it is possible to bid for a place in the Kings team. To find out more about bidding for a place on the KCJS team or to buy tickets for the event contact garrylace@yahoo.co.uk

The school will later be taking a cricket team to tour South Africa, and in the run up to the tour it gets behind fundraising with a generous donation being made to the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK.

While in South Africa the boys and teachers will visit an NMCF funded project and see how money is spent.
