Priorities for forthcoming patrols in the area
Police covering the Hillside ward area of Wimbledon will be available to meet the public at the following times:
Following a Hillside Ward Panel meeting on July 22, it was decided that residential burglary, pick-pocketing and anti-social behaviour should be the main focus for their patrols. The team is also looking at the slight increase in theft of pedal cycles across the ward.
Sgt Tony Oram said: "Can I remind residents of the need to secure your bike with a sturdy D lock. Also if bicycles are left in front and back gardens that they are locked also. If you would like to have your bike property marked please contact us at Hillside.snt@met.police.uk or 0208-721-245."
