Wimbledon Police Get Set For Tug Of War

Charity event to take place on the Common

Wimbledon Village police are appealing for teams to join their annual Charity Tug of War on Wimbledon Common.

The event takes place at the Wimbledon Common Stables Open Day on Sunday September 12, by the Ranger's Office, Wimbledon Common, Windmill Road.

The charity chosen by the Wimbledon Village Safer Neighbourhood team this year is 'Help for Heroes'.

The competition involves teams of eight (all aged over 18), with two reserves allowed. For more details of entry, ring 0208-721-2457.
