Man arrested after Wimbledon house raid
A man has been arrested after police raided a house in Wimbledon and found equipment used to cultivate cannabis along with what they believed to be growing cannabis.
The raid took place recently in Tintern Close, off Haydons Road, and a 36-year-old man was held.
He was taken for interview at Wimbledon police station and later bailed pending further inquiries. He is due to return to the police station on Friday September 24.
Sergeant Erin Molyneux said: "Trinity Safer Neighbourhoods Team are committed to tackling drugs on the ward and this sends out a clear message that drugs will not be tolerated.”
