Auditions soon for next WLOS production
Wimbledon Light Opera Society will be soon be holding auditions for its next production, Singin' in the Rain.
They will be performing the popular musical at the London Oratory School Arts Centre in Fulham from May 18-21.
The auditions for principal singing roles will take place on Sunday January 16, with a rehearsal for singers auditioning at 7.45pm on Tuesday January 4.
You can register your interest with Hazel Channon at hazelchannon@googlemail.com. There will be a small audition fee of £5.00 for all non-WLOS-members (which will be discounted from annual membership if you join) to help cover the costs of hall and accompanist.
The WLOS have just announced that Alex Sutton, who directed Hello Dolly in 2006, will be directing Singin' in the Rain.
Their last show was Dad's Army, which they performed in Wimbledon's Merton Hall last month.
