Adults First runs events for family carers of an adult with a learning disability
Adults First, a Merton Forum for Carers of Adults with a Learning Disability and a project of Merton Mencap, runs regular events for carers who are Merton residents.
Their South Wimbledon or Morden events are open to all Merton residents who are family carers of an adult with a learning disability. Details of the next event are below:
Nutrition with Serap Danyildiz, a Health and Wellbeing Coordinator from Generate (a local charity providing support for people with learning disabilities).
Practical advice on diet and nutrition which could improve health, behaviour, concentration, sleep, weight loss and more. Plus tips to encourage adults with a learning disability to eat more healthily.
Book now to guarantee your place at the event, which is limited to family carers only. Refreshments will be provided.
