Cole Porter's score is 80 years old

Cole Porter's classic musical comedy, Anything Goes, has sailed into Wimbledon.

Following its run at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield, the show, directed by Daniel Evans and choreographed by Alistair David, will runs at the New Wimbledon Theatre until Saturday (February 7).

Rebecca Quigley, CEO of Stage Entertainment UK, said:  "I'm very excited to be working with Daniel and Alistair, whose work I have loved over the last ten years. They're the perfect creative team to stage this hugely entertaining musical comedy."

Daniel Evans, Sheffield Theatres' Artistic Director, added: "It's 80 years since Cole Porter’s exhilarating score arrived on Broadway and I'm truly delighted that this collaboration between Sheffield Theatres and Stage Entertainment will see our production perform right across the UK and Ireland."
