Meet The Council Leader In Wimbledon
A chance to quiz the Merton leader
Merton Council leader Stephen Alambritis is inviting residents to meet him face-to-face at special sessions in Wimbledon and elsewhere in Merton.
It will be an opportunity to ask any questions or raise any concerns you might have about council services and what is happening in the borough.
He will be answering questions on issues that matter to people such as council tax, street cleaning, parks, schools, parking and much more.
Councillor Alambritis (left) said: "I'm eager to meet local people over the summer to find out from them how we're doing at Merton Council and what we could do better.
"Anyone can come along and ask me any questions they have, or just drop by for a chat. I'm looking forward to the sessions and hope to meet as many Merton residents as possible."
Upcoming 'Ask the Leader' sessions are taking place at the following locations:
- 6 August, 10am-12pm: Cafe la Lavella, Morden
- 7 August, 10am-12pm: The Rose and Crown, Wimbledon Village.
