Book fun on Wimbledon's Piazza
Visitors to Wimbledon's ArtShed this weekend will face the enigmatic question: "Where do you come from?"
Pan Macmillan Publishers (aka Pan Mac Live) will transform The ArtShed (on The Piazza outside Morrisons) into a space of Hungarian feasting, forgotten family photos, maps of Habsburg Europe and, as we consider long-gone memories of our past, there may even emerge some zombie goldfishes to entertain those with fewer years spent on earth…
There will be a book exchange where children can bring along an old book to donate to a local school and pick up a brand new one to take home.
You can stop by to discover more, have some nibbles or just relax in the corner with a good read.
You can also see the winning entries to this years Bookfest Young Writers competition which will be displayed in the shed.
