Local link to Gary Oldman movie
The Wimbledon Going For Gold campaign is staging a special Business in Film event at the town's Odeon cinema on Thursday October 14.
Guest speaker will be George Blacklock, Dean of Wimbledon College of Art and a reknowned painter.
He will be followed by a private screening of the 1985 Gary Oldman movie, "Honest, Decent and True". Made for British television, this spoof of the advertising industry also stars Ade Edmonson and Richard E. Grant.
Organisers promise you will find out what George Blacklock to do with the making of the film. He will both inform and entertain as he gives the inside story.
The evening starts at 6pm.
