Image was seen on Cakeology's CCTV
A man has been charged after the owner of a Raynes Park cake shop released CCTV images of someone stealing cash from their till.
The owner of Cakeology in Kingston Road, Raynes Park, released the CCTV images on Twitter to warn other local shopkeepers.
The incident took place at 11.22am on April 2 when Cakeology owner Laura Geroge was briefly in the kitchen with a customer.
As well as sharing the CCTV images on this website, she tweeted a link to them. The page containing the images was viewed 20,000 times.
A 25 year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged on April 9 with four counts of burglary and four counts of theft and one count of making off without payment. He has been remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in due course.
