A home style event in Wimbledon on Saturday October 13 aims to raise funds for the Shooting Star Chase Children's Hospice charity.

It will take place at Timber Windows at Haydons Road in Wimbledon from 10am-5pm and will include a cookery demonstration by Mark David.

Timber Windows have joined forces with AGA, kitchen designers Thomas Ford & Sons and conservatory and orangery company, The English Glasshouse, to enable those attending to learn more about the latest home design trends.

Timber Windows will donate £1 to the hospice charity for everyone who attends to see the new AGA Total Control cooker in action.

• Shooting Star CHASE supports local familes with a child or teenager not expected to reach their 19th birthday. It helps more than 600 families in West London, Surrey and West Sussex.
