There is something for everyone at the following Christmas-related events in and around Wimbledon:

Raynes Park:

Friday 2 December from 3.30pm to 7pm. The Salvation Army, the Raynes Park Association and the Raynes Park Association of Independent Businesses welcome families to the Christmas celebration this year. There will be stalls, a Santa’s grotto, performances from local schools and choirs, a nativity with real animals and the switching on of the tree lights outside Raynes Park station at 5pm.

Wimbledon Village:

Sunday 4 December: Wimbledon Village Business Association presents Christmas in the Village from 10.30am to 5pm at various locations in the village. Enjoy fairground rides, a Santa’s grotto, activities for children and young people, Christmas tree lights switch on, crafts and carol singing. Visit wimbledon-village.com.

There's also Arlene Phillips in Dick Whittington at New Wimbledon Theatre from December 7, as well as plenty of other pantos in the area.
