A 48-year-old man has died after being involved in a collision in South Wimbledon.

At around 9.10pm this Tuesday evening (13 September) he was hit by a car whilst riding his motorcycle at the junction of Morden Road and Jubilee Way, SW19.

He was taken by ambulance to a south London hospital where he died later that evening.

His next of kin have been informed, but no formal identification has been made yet.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene. He has not been arrested.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Merton on 020 8543 5157.
