Witnesses sought after 66-year-old female pedestrian hit by car

The woman who was involved in a collision on Morden Hall Road has died of her injuries this Wednesday (16 December).

She had been taken to hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a car at round 8.15pm on Monday.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries and has not been arrested.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton are particularly keen to speak to anyone that was on board a route 118 bus that was stationary at a bus stop by Morden Lodge at the time of the collision and may have witnessed the collision.

They would also like to hear from any road users who may have captured in incident on dashcam footage.
