Appeal To Catch Suspect After Row In Local Tyre Fitting Shop


Man threatened to stab staff and then damaged computer monitor

 

Detectives have issued CCTV footage of a man they wish to speak to after a computer monitor was damaged following a row in a Colliers Wood tyre fitting shop.

CCTV in the office at Deebees on the High Street caught the moment the suspect walked in and argued with staff about repair work to his car.

He later threatened to stab staff if he could not leave without paying and damaged the computer monitor whilst making the threat.

The incident happened at some point between 09.45am and 10.08am on Friday, June 10. Police said they were called to the scene at 10am to a report of criminal damage.

The suspect [ref: 217373] is described as a balding black man, aged in his mid-40s, 5ft 6ins tall with a thin black beard. He was wearing a grey T-shirt with green writing and blue jeans.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man captured in the above footage.
