An insight into local democracy in action
Merton Council is holding an event for residents who may be thinking about standing in this year's local election.
The event on the evening of Tuesday 25 February, 7pm – 9pm at the Civic Centre will give people insight into the work involved of being a councillor.
They will also be able to speak to current councillors and staff from Merton's democratic services team about what support is available.
