Family fun at popular site

Deen City Farm is holding a Christmas Fair at its site in Windsor Avenue, Merton Abbey, on Sunday December 11.

The popular city farm will have a Santa's Grotto at the event as well as balloon modelling, face painting, tombola, arts/crafts, mulled wine and more.

It starts at 11am and runs until 3pm. Acting Operations Manager Lisa Allen said: "Please do support us during these difficult times by coming to our Christmas Fun Day."

• The farm has also just announced that its cafe will close during the week for the winter, but will remain open at weekends. Managers are re-thinking their catering facilities and when it fully re-opens it will have a new name and image.
