Dog owners in Wimbledon are being invited to the next Dog Watch event, which takes place at South Park Gardens, Wimbledon, on Saturday July 9.
It follows the recent launch of the Dog Watch scheme, a joint initiative between Merton Council and Merton police.
They'd like to welcome new members to the event, which takes place from 10am-1pm. They'll be given the chance to talk about issues in this area that might impact on quality of life - such as anti-social behaviour, dangerous dogs or even untaxed vehicles.
They'll also be offering advice and information to dog owners on pet welfare, care and legislation, through a quarterly newsletter. The event itself will offer free micro-chipping.
