Part of the pavilion is damaged by blaze
Fire broke out this morning (October 28) at the athletics stadium at Wimbledon Park.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers from London Fire Brigade were called to the blaze at 8.31am.
Part of the ground floor of the disused pavilion was damaged by fire.
The fire was under control at 9.55am, but part of the ground floor of a pavilion was damaged by fire.
Fire crews from Wandsworth, Wimbledon and Tooting fire stations attended the scene. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
