Experts on hand with advice
Free blood pressure and body mass index checks are being offered by NHS South West London and Merton Council.
They take place from 10am-3pm on Monday September 12 at Morden Library.
Health professionals will be on hand to carry out the checks and offer advice on healthy lifestyles.
They say high blood pressure is responsible for 60 per cent of strokes and 40 per cent of heart attacks in the UK, so it's important to know your numbers. For more information call 0208-251-0583.
