Talking cricket at Kingsmeadow

AFC Wimbledon is staging a cricket evening, including a speech and Q&A session with former England and Surrey batsman, Graham Thorpe.

The event, which takes place at Kingsmeadow on Friday September 16, is the first cricket night staged by the Friends of the Dons Trust.

The evening will include three-course meal, cricket quiz and auction as well as a keynote speech from Graham Thorpe (left), who won 100 caps for England in a test career that spanned more than a decade. 

Highlights of his playing career will be screened and there will be opportunities to have your photograph taken with Graham and win some exclusive memorabilia. Members of the current 2011 Surrey CCC squad will also be invited.
