Give Your Views On Parking In Wimbledon

Are you happy with local parking provision?

What do you think about parking around local shopping parades in Wimbledon? Merton council is giving you the chance to let them know.

The council is looking at three key areas for feedback on current parking: Sufficiency, location and cost. The survey covers shopping parades in Wimbledon and Colliers Wood area, as well as Mitcham, Raynes Park and Morden. Residents and businesses have until April 30 to respond to the survey.

This is the second phase of consultation which forms part of a wider review of Merton's parking policy. The first phase, which involved consultation with residents and businesses in each of the borough’s five town centres and Wimbledon Village, was carried out in the autumn of 2012.

Cabinet member for performance and implementation, Councillor Mark Betteridge said: "We encourage all residents and businesses to take part in this consultation as their feedback is crucial to helping us further improve parking services in Merton, as we work to make parking fairer across the borough."
