Aim to bring the Met closer to the community

Police in Colliers Wood are looking for volunteers to become Community Ambassadors.

PCSO Dave Russell said: "The purpose is to bring the Met Police closer to the community, with a view to presenting a career in the Met as a good choice for all sections of the community.

"There would be training available and also funds for local projects. The candidate would also get the opportunity to visit many departments of the Met including the Air support unit (helicopter)."
