Campaign To Find Bone Marrow Match For Wimbledon Dad

Could you be the match for Rob?

An online campaign has been launched to find a bone marrow match for Wimbledon father-of-three Rob Ireland.

He is suffering from an aggresive form of a rare lymphoma and has been told that his best chance of survival is a bone marrow or stem cell transplant.

Unfortunately Rob, aged 57, also has a rare tissue type, which means there's no matching donor for him on the UK registers.

His three daughters Georgie, Sophie and Emma, as well as his wife of 34 years Melanie, are determined to keep a postiive mental attitude, and they've launched an online campaign to get as many people as possible signed up to the Anthony Nolan register.

If you're aged between 16-30 and in general good health, join the register by clicking on the Anthony Nolan website: www.anthonynolan.org/

They'll send you out a spit kit in the post. Just spit in it, send it back, and they'll add you to their register as a potential lifesaver, and you'll stay on until you're 60. -
