You could take part in a Wimbledon fashion show
A chance for an aspiring star of the catwalk to take part in a prestigious fashion show this autumn is being offered by Wimbledon's Centre Court shopping centre.
One lucky wannabe model, or just someone who fancies a day of being treated like one, will win the chance to take to the catwalk at the centre on Friday and Saturday October 7 and 8.
The winner will be styled and have their make up and hair done by an expert fashion team and can also choose a voucher worth £100 from their favourite Centre Court store.
Candidates can nominate themselves or be nominated – simply letting the team at the centre know why they want to be in the spotlight.
Centre Court Shopping Centre's marketing manager Samantha Brown explained the annual fashion show was all about showcasing autumn trends at the centre and always proved hugely popular, with major fashion brands supporting the show.
She said that shoppers had often told her they would love to take part, so this year this was being made possible.
"Perhaps someone wants to show off an amazing new figure or has overcome illness, or maybe a relative would like to nominate someone in their family, or a wannabe model would like to boost their CV," said Samantha.
"Whatever the reason, we’d love to hear from them. For your chance to show off your catwalk skills on stage at Centre Court’s fashion show, all you have to do is send in a full length recent photograph and tell us in no more than 30 words why you should be selected."
