Candlelit Christmas Chamber Music Concert

Christ Church is the venue for string trio

The Jigsaw Players, professional musicians who bring chamber music to Wimbledon, are staging a candlelit Christmas concert on Saturday December 18.

They will be performing Bach's Goldberg variations, arranged for string trio, at Christ Church in Copse Hill, West Wimbledon, from 7.30pm.

The performers for this concert are: Jonathan Stone, violin; Emmanuella Reiter-Bootiman, viola; Andrew Joyce, Cello.

Upon arrival you will be offered mulled wine, tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Members of the Jigsaw Players and other friends will also be performing a charity orchestra concert at the Sacred Heart Church in Edge Hill, Wimbledon, at 8pm on Saturday January 8.

Entrance is free, but the event is in aid of Leukemia and Lymphoma Research. They will be performing Britten's Lachrymae and Beethoven's Symphony no 2.
