Jumble Trail Comes To Colliers Wood

You can set up a stall outside your home

Jumble Trail – which is like a car boot sale, but on your street - is coming to SW19 for the first time on Sunday 9 October.

Residents who live in Colliers Wood are encouraged to clear out their cupboards and set up a stall in their front gardens. As the saying goes, ‘one man’s junk is another man’s treasure’.

You can set up a stall outside your home to sell anything from bric-a-brac, toys, vintage clothes to cakes. The aim is to encourage reuse and recycling at a grassroots level and to enhance community spirit.

Taking part in the event is free, as the usual stall fee is being covered by funding from Recycle for London. The Jumble Trail is forming part of their ‘Repair and Reuse’ programme of events taking place across London this autumn.

The Merton Jumble Trail, supported by support Merton Council, Recycle for London and the South London Waste Partnership, will take place on Sunday 9 October from 11am to 4pm in residential roads centred around the Colliers Wood Recreation Ground.
