The captain of The King's Rugby Club, George Taylor, has climbed the height of Mount Everest via the stairs in the clubhouse.

His challenge, which took place on Saturday (July 11) ws to raise funds for a new balcony at the Motspur Park clubhouse and the NHS.

He wore his 'budgy smugglers' as he climbed 3,096 flights of stairs and 46,440 steps to complete his target inside 24 hours.

George is aiming to raise £15,000 and today (July 17) has already raised more than £12,000.
