Do you know someone who shares their birthday with the Queen?
Merton’s Mayor elect is calling on residents who shared their 90th birthday with the Queen (21 April), to get in touch with the Mayor’s office at the Civic Centre.
Councillor Brenda Fraser, who is set to start her mayoralty in May would like to invite residents celebrating their 90th birthday on the same day as the Queen, to the Mayor’s Parlour for afternoon tea in June, to tie in with the national, official celebrations.
Anyone who is 90, or has a relative who turned 90 on 21 April and lives in the borough, should contact the Mayor or Merton’s office on 020 8545 3517 or email mayorofmerton@merton.gov.uk.
