Hundreds of staff moving to town centre office
Merchant bankers Close Brothers are set to be Wimbledon's single biggest employer when they move to the town in August.
They are re-locating 600 staff from their office in Tolworth Tower to Wimbledon Bridge House in Hartfield Road.
The merchant banking group provides lending, deposit taking, wealth management services and securities trading.
A spokesperson for Close Brothers said: "We are looking forward to our move to Wimbledon. It will provide our employees with a great environment to work in and we look forward to becoming active members of the local community".
Helen Clark Bell, Love Wimbledon BID manager, said: "We are delighted that Close Brothers are moving into the town this summer. Love Wimbledon is actively working with senior managers now to help with their transition and to offer a warm welcome to all Close Brothers staff."
