Youngster stages first art show

Nine-year-old Ali Alsakkaf staged his first ever art exhibition, which ran at Merton Abbey School in South Wimbledon.

The exhibition of drawings and paintings by Ali - including his ink drawing, 'Still Life with Fruit and a Sponge' (right) - took place in the hall of the school in High Path.

The talented schoolboy is pictured below as well as a display of some of his artwork.
