Annual event takes place over two September weekends
Merton Arts Festival 2018, which includes artist open house events across the borough, is taking place over the weekends of September 15-16 and 22-23.
Over 100 artists will be taking part in over 40 venues across the borough.
Before the start of the Festival, 'Stitch, Print, Process' is running two free workshops for children and adults to make banners and pennants on Friday 7 September and Saturday 8 September, followed by a procession along the Wandle.
This year the theme for the open exhibitions is Taking Liberties, which local artists will be interpreting as widely as they like!
You will be able to see a vast array of Merton's talent - in artists' homes and studios, cafes, pubs and galleries.
Be inspired by ceramics, glass, jewellery and textiles, as well as painting, sculpture, photography and prints.
There will also be a walk around venues on September 22 as well as talks, workshops and demonstrations.
