Enjoy the work done by Merton Art Society
A chance to see the work of local artists is now being offered by the Merton Art Society.
The organisation is staging an exhibition of work by dozens of artists at the Gallery in Wimbledon Library until Saturday (May 21).
The exhibition, which includes artwork of local scenes, comes near the end of Merton Art Society's 2010-2011 programme.
The group will also be holding an outdoor painting session for Society members on Wimbledon Common on Tuesday June 14. They will meet at the War Memorial at 7.15pm.
Their July 14 session invites members to bring along a recent painting of their own for "friendly appraisal".
Merton Arts Society has its main meetings at the Martin Way Methodist Church in Buckleigh Avenue, Merton Park. For more information, see the Merton Art Society website.
