Give Your CV A Fresh Start

Programme on offer to local jobseekers

A 'Fresh Start CV' programme has been set up by Merton Adult Education to help local people get back into the workplace.

In partnership with Mitcham Job Centre, Merton Adult Education will be supporting people who sign up to the job centre with the Fresh Start CV Programme, an intensive job hunting scheme that helps job seekers to develop their CVs and find jobs suitable to their skillset.

Members of Merton Adult Education’s team will be available to speak to at Mitcham Job Centre from Mondays to Fridays.

Merton Council's cabinet member for education, Councillor Martin Whelton, said: “Merton Adult Education provides a great service to adult learners in our borough and is now going the extra mile to make sure that people’s skills don’t go to waste by helping them to find a job and build confidence to enter the workplace. I would encourage anyone looking for a job to sign up to this programme and get the help of both Mitcham Job Centre and our team at Merton Adult Education to find a job to suits your skills.”
