Fun for all the family

Dog owners are invited to a Dog Watch Event being held on Saturday May 19 between 10am to 2pm in Morden Park.

Organisers from Merton Police are hoping to make this event more successful than the launch last year.

At the event, which takes place between the band stand and register office, will offer the following:

Free dog show

Free dog micro-chipping for Merton residents

Free agility.

The Army will be down with an assault course and paint-balling. Mitcham Rugby Club will also be doing demos for children.

There will many animal charities there, including Guildford Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Battersea Dogs Home, The Dogs Trust, The Blue Cross, Absolutely Animals, Rescue Remedies Dog Charity and Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare.

Also attending will be Healing Paws, Le Chien, All Breeds, Waggy Tails Photography, Doggie Boutique, Pets at Home, Army for Youth and Mitcham Rugby Club (Youth Engagement)
