Merton Council's popular firework displays will be back this year in Morden Park on Saturday November 2 and at Wimbledon Park on Tuesday November 5.

This year's fireworks themes are Kids’ TV and Film, for the younger audience, and 2013, What a Blast for the second display.  

Gates will open at 5.15pm and people are encouraged to arrive early to avoid queues. Fairground rides, stalls and refreshments will be open until 10.00pm.

Tickets are only available on the gates on the night and are priced at £8 for adults and £6 for ages 16 and under. Ages four and under can go for free. A family ticket for two adults and two children, aged 16 and under costs £25.

The first performance will be at 6.30pm and the second display at 8.15pm. Find out more at www.merton.gov.uk/fireworks.

The Priory Primary School Fireworks and Barbeque event takes place at the school in Queens Road, Wimbledon, on Friday November 8. Gates open at 6pm and you can buy your tickets on the door, £16 for a family of 2 adults and 3 children, or Adults £6 and Children £3.

The annual fireworks at King's College School in Southside, Wimbledon, takes place on Saturday November 9.

The Glencairn gates will open at 5.30pm and the evening will begin with children's entertainment and music from the School’s rock and jazz bands. The fireworks and light show will follow at 7.45pm.

A barbecue is included in the ticket price, whilst a tuck shop, Krispy Kreme stall and a bar will also be selling refreshments. New for 2013 is the Gamewagon where children, for an extra fee, can play video games against one another.

The annual South Park Gardens firework display on Saturday November 9 is already sold out.
