Local Firework Shows

Musical firework displays are coming soon

Advance ticket sales have now finished for the Wimbledon Park firework show on Wednesday November 5, but a limited number are available on the night.

This year for the first time, Merton Council sold tickets online ahead of the event.

This year's fireworks themes are Ice and Magic, more suitable for younger children, and Salute to Services for an older audience.

Gates will open at 5.15pm and people are encouraged to arrive early for the show they are seeing to avoid queues. Fairground rides, stalls and refreshments will be open until 10pm.

A limited number of tickets will be available on the night, but people were encouraged to book online in advance. Concessionary family tickets will not be available on the gate.

Merton Council's cabinet member for community and culture, Councillor Nick Draper, said: "Merton's fireworks and bonfire nights are magical. I love to feel the ground shake, the music swell, the sky burst into a million sparks. Come and share the experience – and make sure to book your tickets online to save money. I look forward to seeing you all there!"
