Community Benefit Concert In Aid Of Typhoon Appeal


Enjoy a feast of five-minute performances

An impromptu benefit concert in Merton Park is aiming to raise funds for the Typhoon Haiyan Appeal for the Philippines and beyond.

Organisers are asking talented residents to come along and give a five minute performances - be it music, drama, poetry, sketches, dance, puppetry or mime.

The audience will get the chance to donate directly to the appeal in return for their night's entertainment.

The fun takes place on Tuesday December 3 from 6pm onwards at St Mary's Church, Church Path, Merton Park, SW19 3HJ.

Performers and the audience just need to turn up on the night and all ages and styles are welcome.

  • Donations will be collected on the night or visit www.stmarysmerton.org.uk. All donations given to The British Red Cross, a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee, which brings together 14 leading UK aid charities in times of crisis.
